Rajasthan: The Pride of India

Situated in the southern part of India, Rajasthan tells the story of its glory. Rajasthan has a blend of marvelous architecture, natural beauty and flora & fauna. It has everything to be called as a perfect tourist destination. If palaces like Lake Palace of Jaipur shows its heritage then the lush hills of the Aravallis speaks about its natural beauty. Famous Destinations:

 

Jaipur: Also known to the world as Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan. Since the house of this city is built with the pink stones so it is called as Pink City, a must visit destination of Rajasthan. There are a number of tourist spots which includes the Famous City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar (an observatory built by astronomer king Maharaja Jai Singh), the modern Birla Planetarium and many others.

 

Jodhpur: Also known as Sun City is the historic center of the Marwar region. Jodhpur is famous for its rich history. Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Public Gardens Museum are some among many other tourist spots in Jodhpur.

 

Udaipur: Also known as the City of Lakes is world famous for its fairy tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens. A motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola will be an unforgettable experience for the tourists. Jag Mandir Palace (an island palace situated in the middle of the lake), Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen\'s resort for her friends) and Fateh Sagar Lake are famous tourist spots in Udaipur among others.

 

Jaisalmer: Also known as the Golden City is an ancient desert city located in the heart of vast Thar Desert. Jaisalmer Fort (located atop a hill), ancient 12th century Jain Temples, magnificent Havelis are some of the famous tourist spots in Jaisalmer.

 

Pushkar: It is the world famous cattle fair land also known for the one and only 8th century temple of Lord Brahma in the world. The Pushkar fair, held in November every year, is India\'s and probably the words largest camel fair.

 

Bharatpur: It is famous due to Keoladeo Birds National Park also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. With its more than 375 species is one of the best water bird sanctuaries in the world. In winter there are many migratory birds from the northern hemisphere including the rare Siberian crane can be seen here.

 

Ranthambore: It is famous for Ranthambore National Park. Surrounded by the Vindhyas and the Aravali mountains the Ranthambore National Park is known for the famous Indian Tigers.

 

Sariska: Famous for the national park named as Sariska National Park, surrounded by the barren mountains. The main attractions of this wildlife sanctuary are Tiger, Panther, Sambhar, Nilgai, Chinkara and many more, which can only be summarized than to described.
