When you decide to become an addition to the San Diego populace, you\'ll discover that it doesn\'t really matter what sort of background you\'ve come from, because the diversity of the city is obvious at every turn. One day, you could be lodging in one of the nicest resorts that specializes in the most luxurious of lifestyles, while the next, you might be playing a game of Frisbee on the green lawns of Mission Bay Park. There are certainly plenty of exquisite and expensive attractions around town, but residents find affordable avenues of entertainment throughout the year at little or no cost.
Families who appreciate animals must make a special trip to Sea World. Performing dolphins and whales are perhaps the biggest attraction; however, there are many other noteworthy exhibits. These include a ride on Journey to Atlantis, which is a new roller coaster ride that is thrilling and so exciting the whole family will want to ride over and over again.
Balboa Park is another great family destination. It is so large at more than 1,000 acres that you might need to make several visits to have the opportunity to appreciate it all. That\'s especially the case for the San Diego Zoo, located in the park, which displays more than 4,000 animals. In addition, there are many gardens and museums to explore! If you really enjoy the zoo, you may want to explore the Wild Animal Park on an African themed safari. Legoland is also quite popular with families, particularly those with really little ones. At this park, there truly is something for everyone and everything is made of Legos and sized just right for little kids to enjoy. With all the colors and amazing Lego sculptures, it\'s a destination you don\'t want to miss!
